Bit clickbaity. The UN isn't a government, it's a forum. These seats rotate and everyone eventually gets a seat at the table on these councils and Committees.

For example, Saudi Arabia is on the Human Rights Commision right now.

Again, credibility = 0. Would give a negative score if possible. 

China being on the Human Rights Commission at any point is/was laughable. Them lecturing us (or damn near anyone else) re: human rights is the absolute height of hypocrisy. Something about logs and splinters in eyes, or some such...

If the UN doesn't give a damn about being taken seriously, they're doing a bang-up job.
