It’s because of recruiting. I think he’s a risky hire for sure, but he will attract talent from all across the country, and in my opinion that’s more than half the battle.

I mean, we're a top 15 job nationally.  He's got enough self confidence (as most coaches do) to compete.  Auburn has show we can do it, we just can't seem to do it consistently/trip over ourselves.  Unless FSU was coming open next year (I doubt they are & they are recruiting well) it be wild to turn us down, even moreso "not even be interested"

The thing was Ole Miss was to brass about it. They were recruiting too good, too quickly, especially at a place like Ole Miss. The big wigs of the conference did not like it. PERIOD. Look at how NS literally complained about Jimbo in the media and Jimbo responded with how he knows the stuff NS does. But those are big wigs. Nothing was even investigated by those comments.

Well yeah it's Jimbo and NS anybody that's not in that club will get looked at unfortunately. That's another reason why I think Deion would be an excellent hire he would be able to get away with a few things. Just IMO. Especially with NIL on top of that.

There is a legit concern about Deion being able to coach in the SEC, run a massive program, and everything else.  I hope anyone propping him up can recognize that.
