BOOM!!!! This is yuge! Gus has never had this athletic of a TE imo of course! I love it! Beat out texas and herman who really wanted him and thats a big coup and notch on gus belt. NOW JUST ACTUALLY USE HIM NOW GUS!!!!!! learn from your past mistakes.

All the woe is me this morning and how Texas had won and we still got him. Great pickup. I am hoping with the QB's we have now and this type of target we will add the TE pass to our play selection.

I don't think he is much more athletic if any than CJU was. Just have to use him like we should have CJ.

I should clarify my comments were not meant to indicate that he can or can not block. Just that blocking will be his main role in our offense

Totally different skill sets. One is primarily a blocker. What makes this kid dangerous is his catching ability and the miss match he would create with LBs trying to cover him. That's why I said in one of my other posts that I hope we don't try to turn him into Jay Prosch. This kid isn't being recruited because of his elite blocking ability. If we are planning to use him as a FB/TE,  I don't see him being much more than a contributer. If we properly utilize him, he COULD be a superstar. I am as excited about the possibility this guy presents as I am about JS.
