I'm torn . Is it your reading comprehension that's weak or your ability to understand sarcasm?

Throughout history Anerica has seen times of greatness, no doubt. But it hasn't always been great for everyone. Based on Trump's rhetoric, who do you think he wants to make America great for?

When America was great, it wasn't because of the inequities and denial of freedoms upon others. It was STILL great, despite those shortcomings. And much progress has been made, so when I see folks mock and ridicule desires to " go back ", I have to shake my head in disbelief that anyone actually believes Trump , or any Republican / Conservative in any way wants to reinstate Jim Crow laws, segregation, and hell, even repeal Woman's suffrage. It's a gross display of the worst sort of propaganda , and yet that is what seems to motivate those who " protest " violently, at things like Trump rallies or TEA party town hall meetings.

What I honestly think is really going on is that there are unions and degenerates who simply don't want their free ride to come to an end, and instead of dealing with having to face working for a living, they fabricate these false fears. Like how Joe Biden claimed the GOP wants to " put y'all back in chains ". Outright rubbish.

The way Republucans vote says different on women's rights. In 2012 they voted AGAINST Equal Pay for Equal Work for Women and the Violence Against Women act which educates law enforcement on violent crimes against women.

I don't think that's propaganda at all.

America was great when it had slaves...now America isn't great because we're divided (by divided that means people calling out racism) how does that work?

dailykos ? :laugh:/>

Yeah, that's objective.

So, organized brown-shirt-thugs, attacking Trump and his supporters, and folks are blaming TRUMP ?

Stunning.

Yep. It's your reading compression giving you trouble. Did you see the part where people who were peaceful protestors, not saying anything, were escorted out then demeaned by Trump?

Well that's two of us in agreement. A majority of the board feels his reading comprehension leads much to be desired.

Don't be fooled by the title of a bill and think it means what is claims to mean. Like the ACA... complete bunk. Equal pay for Equal work is and already has been the law. There are reasons for not voting for a bill that can go well beyond just what is on the title page.

Its more times than not pure propaganda.

Hey genius, just because I don't agree with what someone says doesn't mean I didn't comprehend it.

Ever think of that ? It's a petty insult to assume that simply because I have a different view on something I'm not able to " comprehend " . Talk about elitist ! You point the finger at others, when you alone are guilty of it the most.

I read all too well. And I get this guy, who is obviously biased in his view points and descriptions, can't possibly comprehend why anyone at a TRUMP rally would see those holding up signs as being disruptive. What exactly is a " peaceful " anti- Trump sign, anyway ? Is that like a 'peaceful ' bama sign, in the middle of a Auburn football pep rally?

Please.

This was a personal narrative of someone who attended a Trump rally. A personal narrative. I never quoted it as unbiased. I only said it was interesting.

And those protestors have every right to hold up signs just like I had the right to go to Tuscaloosa wearing my Auburn shirt. As long as they aren't breaking the law then they have a right to hold up whatever signs they like.

At Trump's rally in Madison, black students were escorted out for having BLM signs. While being escorted out they were verbally harassed. That is wrong. So if that's what you want to label as biased then I'll happily wear that label.

That's EXACTLY how I feel which is why I used a sarcastic persona saying things that you have and you came to this conclusion...thank you.

Liberal bias and propaganda are just words you Republucans use when the facts don't fit your narrative.

Trump to pay your legal fees? Well...

Well I’m going to review it. And I understand … and I don’t condone violence and I don’t condone what happened to him and what he did because he got carried away and it’s very unfortunate. But this kid was walking out and I understand he had a certain finger up in the air as he’s walking out, and this man become very angry. And you know what? Again. I don’t condone violence, but this kid shouldn’t have had the finger up in the air either, okay? If that’s what he did. So I’m going to take a look at the tape and I’ll let you know.

‘I don’t condone violence. I’m just saying that I might condone this violence. That’s all.’

So from that you can conclude that he is checking the tape to see if the kid flipped the bird, and if he did, then it appears the Trump standard for defense will have been met and the sucker puncher will be on legal easy street.

Trump did say that back when America was great people like that were carried out on stretchers. Guess the old man wS trying to help.

Where are all the Trump protesters at a Bernie or Hillary rally ? Where are all the signs there? Your perspective is completely 1 sided on this matter.

The reason there are no protestors at a Hillary or Bernie rally is simple. NEITHER OF THEM ENGAGE IN HATEFUL RHETORIC towards Hispanics, blacks, or Muslims.

Have you HEARD Trump speak? Almost everything that comes out of his mouth is a hateful insult.

In the year or so after the election, I listened to a lot of Palin interviews, and although her range of knowledge is certainly quite limited, she spoke very confidently and enthusiastically about some Alaska-specific issues, one being the oil industry in the state. Another was less important but still fascinating—the myriad complexities of voting and getting votes counted in Alaska. She took obvious pleasure in her mastery of these subjects and pleasure in explaining them to people who didn't know much about them.

I have now been through dozens of interviews with Trump with a variety of interviewers, and I have never once—not once—heard him discuss anything, any subject of any kind, with any evidence of knowledge, never mind thought. None. Zero. He's like a skipping stone over a pond. He doesn't even come close to the level of dilettante.
