aujeff11 6,243
Bruce Pearl is doing some big things already. Auburn has a pretty tough offseason with Oklahoma already on the books for Defember 21st but then we turn around and play at UConn on the 23rd. UConn returns to Auburn the next season. https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/auburn-basketball-schedules-home-and-home-with-uconn

kwren34 18
Bruce Pearl is doing some big things already. Auburn has a pretty tough offseason with Oklahoma already on the books for December 21st but then we turn around and play at UConn on the 23rd. UConn returns to Auburn the next season. https://www.seccount...home-with-uconn Call me an optimist, but I think both of these games are winnable. UConn, typically, makes their magic in February to March. This game is early enough in the season that UConn could be sleeping on Auburn. Also, when UConn had Walker and Napier, they didn't make their magic happen until around February, typically closer to the conference tournaments. They're still a very talented and well coached team, but I think Auburn can steal this one. As for Oklahoma. I'm a big fan of Lon Kruger. I think he's a very good coach and gets the most out of his players. That being said, losing players like Hield, Cousins, and Spangler will set them back. Khadeem Lattin and Jordan Woodard are very good players. Dante Buford and Dinjiyl Walker will be good next year. Beyond that, I would argue that Auburn is deeper and can stand toe to toe against Oklahoma.
Tiger 8,829
This is good for the program. If we can have a respectable showing that will be huge.

au_bsci_04 407
I'm as big a Husky fan as they come ( dad is an alum). This is awesome, 2 fav teams. It is true Uconn shines better in postseason but they have also played spoiler many times in preseason tourneys. Also remember that for as impressive a recruitin job as BP has done, Uconns last 2 classes are pretty stellar as well. Will be tons of talent on the floor. AU might have the advantage with experience with the recent grad transfers. Uconn will field a pretty young lineup.
