The soccer match with France was a good one.  US won 1-0. The women's rugby team had a player from the South Carolina softball team. The game ended with 1 of the girls getting lit up.  Those women from Fiji can hit.

While the US/Colombia soccer game ended in a disappointing draw,  the US still won the group.  The striker for Colombia made 3 fantastic strikes on set pieces and 2 of the 3 went in,  with the other hitting the crossbar. Messi-esque. The last was an absolute beauty during stoppage time to equalize from near the corner that hooked in.  Basically scored off a corner kick,  but a little further out.

And it sent me to bed mad. Still, it was great to see Megan Rapinoe back - she made that offense move like it did in the WWC.
