I love our defense. In the relatively short time it's improved, the offense has limped.  It's a miracle that the game is "this close". The seemingly reasonable expectation of having a stellar or steadily improving offense under an offensive-minded "guru" of a head coach is the disconnect. It's the irony that gets us. Or at least me.
