The problem is ULM is putting everything they have into this game. Our effort seems to be questionable at best

The team that plays as if it has NOTHING to lose has the best chance to win, every game, every time.  And it's a shame that the "Groundhog Day" effect has to take effect repeatedly.  It should be Captain Obvious.

Don't see how we win this game playing like this.

Not saying its a loss, just saying we need to light the blowers.

No reason this game should be tied right now.   I long for the day that we come out against an overmatched opponent and just put them away.

Those "dynasty" teams you are referencing.....all cheated. It has nothing to do with being mentally engaged. bammer had a weak game against MSU and it happens to them from time to time also. Pete Carroll does not have a "dynasty" in the NFL. He's a good coach but no better than anyone else on that more level playing field. Perspective is a wonderful thing....so is context.

Shut up with the cheating. The point is the top teams will always get everyone's best. You have to be mentally engaged every freaking game. That is not just at this level. It is at every athletic level of competition. That is what separates the great teams from the good.

If we can go into halftime tied or ahead,  maybe they can give the team coffee and donuts to wake them up.

maybe bring a birthday clown in the locker room

Why would they be biased for ULM? That is just stupid. They are calling it how it is.

For the DRAMA of keeping people watching a game that otherwise might not be all that interesting. Good Grief...

what position is he playing?

Head Coach.  The most important position in an earthly sense.  Everything rises and falls on leadership, and part of leadership is how you respond to lack of execution.

Sorry but the players need to care as much as the coaches and fans....not seeing much of that yet.

Whose job is it to motivate the players?  Who is ultimately held responsible for the W-L column?  There’s a reason why Nick Saban has his team where it is.

I knew when I saw that running across the screen...

I thought, "Oh, what a great idea.  Let's see it played out."

The score being 7-7 against the #6 team is not DRAMA ENOUGH? You really are a special kind of stupid.

But Gus has that Championship Urgency.  Aren't we lucky?
