Fair enough. I think he’ll get there though.

Think we’ve lost some of the basic running game in the last few drives and too many 3rd and longs. Cute plays have to stop.

Drop at the beginning of the game ruined the chances of that happening. Bo is killing it with the read option though.

And where have the slants been?  One of the hardest pass plays to defend and it’s either run up the gut or outside or Hail Mary with Gus.  He called a great first quarter but his pass plays don’t make much sense.

Gus had the right plan to spread things horizontally early. They are now defending that. We have to run downhill now.

Had a really good game plan coming out in the first half. They adjusted to it, and we haven’t adjusted back.

Hes done good in calling the easy come backs on the side line, couple passes to Shenker and Joiner in the flats, I think screens, slants and crossing routes would be nice too. Im not saying he called a perfect game

This has been a nicely called game. We’re two over throws from being up 28-3. The only play calling I didn’t like is the runs up the middle and the sweep call after the dropped snap. We need to get Schwartz more involved, make them blanket him then hit Hill who is just as shifty as he is. 
 

I hope we don’t come to pay for those overthrows. The second half makes a game so let’s see it.
