When a SEC baseball coach can pay $250,000 to a transfer portal pitcher, just imagine what a team like A&M can pay to a legit 5 stat difference maker in a skill position. Just from inklings, I've seen in other forums. That is still no excuse. The hard truth is we are in an arms race. So the things that people thought were embarrassing to him in the past better get over it. We better start using all the perks we can get and give for these top-tier guys because I can't see us solely outbidding the texas schools.
