If what I hear is true from a legal perspective, he will miss quite a few games if not more than a few.  He could end up in jail.  The laws in Alabama are very strict when it comes to sex crimes, and if this video was filmed/released without the girl's knowledge and permission he and others could be in big mess.

Yes, unfortunately agree.  I hope he was hacked or the videos were stolen.  I'd assume the girl(s) in the video would have to file charges?

Ok, first of all don’t these guys have play books to be studying! They need to spend less time porning and more time doing…anything else! Was not aware of ALL the tawdry details! 😳 

As long as the adults are consenting/no one is being coerced than it is none of my business what they do in private but 100% agree that it is unwise (stupid) to film it. Zero good is going to happen from that and as we can see a LOT can go wrong.

 

I’m pretty much in agreement on most things in your post. As the facts continue to come out I guess we’ll see how it all shakes out.

Feel like the twitter account 100% posted revenge porn and broke numerous laws.  They said as much in the tweets.  Pretty stupid by them.  Unfortunately it might not vindicate the players.

I think the best case outcome would be players broke no laws, but probably violated some Auburn/AD Code of Conducts and will get suspended for 3 games.  And honestly Hugh needs to set some standards.  College kids are gonna have sex, but stop being morons and filming it and showing it to other people.  That should be pretty clear.

Yes it appears the sexual acts were completely consensual and fine.  This issue becomes did the female know about the filming (all angles were directly at the back of her head/she couldn't see the camera) and did she consent to the videos being shared to outside parties

The twitter user said they weren't in the videos.  There were also multiple girls in the videos/pics posted.  If it is proven the one in the video did post them on twitter, he'll be vindicated and nothing will happen to him.  He did nothing wrong, he didn't share the videos illegally or record them illegally.

Correct. This is the only issue at the end of the day. Even if it comes down to he said/she said, this will be bad for Hunter.

We don't even know if the woman(women) that have been posted online have made any complaints.  They could be victims in this scheme too.  It's a pretty messy situation.  I'm not sure what power the University really has if these woman or twitter account user don't want to discuss anything with them.  The woman in the videos aren't really identifiable.  No tattoos, no faces, back of the head and a random left leg.  They might not even come forward if they don't want their name attached to it and it's a hacking/revenge porn situation
