It's us or "the U" apparently (which isn't really news to anyone)...

Per Rivals.com

"If I decide to leave home for college, Auburn is definitely up there at the top."

Bush and AU commit Josh Holsey had the opportunity to be roommates during their entire stay in Oregon at The Opening. He claims that they became VERY good friends. Bush also had plenty of time talk with Ricardo Louis, who he was already "real cool with", since Louis is also from Miami. Bush says that he hasn't spoken w/ his parents yet about their visit to AU, but says that he knows that they had a good time. He still maintains that he would like to make a decision ASAP, but that he will more-than-likely take all 5 OV's (not one to Miami since it's so close) and make his decision afterward.

As I said... stay home = UM ... leave home = AU ...fingers crossed!  :)

:wareagle: I Think we really have great shot at this kid and his parents didn't visit if he wasn't seriously considering go in to Auburn. I think Ricardo is a great advantage for us to get him and since he spent time with hosley i look for him to commit before the season starts. Hopefully geno too. By the way I saw these guys in Oregon on espn and all three looked amazing and made some great plays.

Great first post, and like DJ says if we get the players and their parents on campus for a visit we always make a big impression on both.

THIS^^ is ABSOLUTELY true! And this case is especially interesting! It's quite obvious that Bush is considering committing to AU. The only hold-up is that he right around the corner from his long-time "favorite" Miami... which is also the team that has been recruiting him the longest... and plus it would be much easier for his parents to come see him play there. But thankfully, they want what's best for their son, and they care enough to make the effort to come and see AU for themselves, undoubtedly, to make sure that it is somewhere they would feel comfortable sending their son. Almost every kid from "out-of-state" has to go through this... so the AU staff has LOTS of experience in these situations... and their record of getting the kids that they want is impeccable. So, fingers crossed that the Bush's decide that AU is the place for them... and if not, then good luck to him at UM!

isn't miami commits saying they have diggs and bush locked up. Are diggs and bush tight. seems like diggs is close to saying auburn from what i am hearing maybe this would push bush on over for sure to and ricardo commiting to auburn should help to. This is a experience for these kids and they want to be with their friends while doing it or atleast i would. War Eagle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DJ has a better feel on this than I do but based on DJ's posts I have a feeling Bush is closer to committing to AU than Diggs because he got his parents to visit AU while he was at the camp at Oregon.

Bush would definitely be the closer of the two. Diggs said it will more than likely be at the Under Armour Game or NSD. If Bush does commit, don't be surprised if he still took his OVs.

Wow...I don't know if everyone has seen film on this kid or not but he's definitely an elite safety.  He can jump, has great ball skills, and is fast.  When I watched Bush's film I noticed he could stop and start on a dime.  He's a great return specialist as well.  We could really use him in our secondary.  Imagine what our secondary will look like in a few years....defensive back U.

ST, DJ, or any Mod, what's the lastest on Bush?  What's his status with AU?

Status quo... it's us and Miami.

Dj would a commitment from geno affect deons decision at all? Or are they being recruited at different positions. It'd be nice to land Holsey smith and bush. What do you think the odds of that happening are?

As has been stated before, all secondary players are being recruited as DB's, and will be placed where they fit best. I wouldn't say either affects the other's decision. Clearly, we think Geno plays CB AND Deon plays S, but that's just what is consensus on this board.

I agree with THIS^^. Bush isn't going to be affected by Geno's decision.

Well said and agree ... but do we get one, both or neither?  :dunno:

its sure been quite with diggs and deon lately. I sure wish we could get them back soon before they simmer down.

You're kidding right? Both have made the trip on their own dime already; Bush having had his parents visit on a separate occasion. Our Coaches have done an amazing job to even get them here for those visits. We're talking at least 8 hour car rides for each party. We will more than likely get one of each recruit's OVs, barring anything crazy! We're in each player top group! The only thing that could be better is a commitment from each...

Good response. Better answer, signing of each to national letter of intent.

And since Miami only has 5 spots left I like our chances.  :we:
