Good Lord, lighten up people.  You jump all over that post, yet have people on here being completely disrespectful by throwing names like Cliff Ellis etc etc out there.

On another note:  Read this morning's article on Trackemtigers, seems like others agree on KH being a good fit.

Nice piece on Kelli Harper.  She looks like the real deal ...and has AU ties.

Terri Williams-Flournoy has the very exact record at Georgetown that Nell has had for the past eight years at AU. With Nell Fortner there were many many valuable intangibles that she brought to her position, not the least of which was her loyalty to AU and her positive representation of AU in everything she did.  Simply put, Ms. Williams-Flournoy has BIG shoes to fill and her choice from the pool of candidates is a serious roll of the dice by the Athletic Dept.

Big difference. She spent four years building the program up, then won 20 or more games each of her final four seasons, reaching the NCAA Tournament the last three and making the Sweet 16 once. Nell is a wonderful lady, and a good basketball coach too, but the program was becoming stagnant under her.

This is another exceptional hire by Jay Jacobs.

I hope she does turn out to be an exceptional hire.  I don't believe that she was the first choice, but that does not mean that she won't turn out to be the right choice in the end.  We certainly did not have to "wait until the final four was set" in order to make this hire.  Time will tell.

During Williams-Flournoy’s time in Athens from 1996-2002, Georgia made six straight NCAA Tournaments, won two NCAA titles and produced seven WNBA players.

i am going to stick my neck waaaaaaaay out there and say that is a fair/decent/OK line on her resume ... but only if you are looking for national championships.
