I'm going to cheat and provide my top 5 favorite players from the time I've been an AU fan starting in '93 (not necessarily best players at their positions, but probably that too). Takeo Spikes: I swear every game I attended from '95-'97 included the phrase "stop made by Takeo Spikes and Marcellus Mastella" after every defensive play. Karlos Dansby: Dude was just a freak. The best story ever is him circling the Arkansas stadium 7 times like the walls of Jericho, and AU beating a top ranked Ark. Cadillac: Probably why I love Tre so much, he reminds me of Caddy. AU Is Gold 410 Posted July 6, 2014 Share Posted July 6, 2014 I am 27 years old. The first game I can truly remember is the 1996 Georgia vs Auburn game. Georgia beat Auburn 56-49 in the 4th overtime. My father said he knew I was truly Auburn at heart when I cried all night after the loss. So although I love Bo Jackson, Pat Sullivan, Terry Beasley, Tracy Rocker, David Langner, and many others...I was never able to truly understand their talents like many of you. I'd like to attach that info to the composite list we're building and it would be neat to find that on the same page as their names instead of having to follow links to get that extra detail.
