I think we can blame the offense, the defense and the special teams. I also think the offense played great except for the fumbles. And they almost bailed us out.

I have no gripes with the replay booth. I saw it the same way. He may have recovered the last fumble, but, he lost it.

If you keep playing with fire, it will burn you. I also am thinking 8 and 4 sounds probable.

I also hate to say it, but I will be checking in on Mr pearl more, recruiting more and football less and less.

I still love auburn and the team, but it doesn't mean I can't frown at them.

No one is defending the defense. They have played like absolute garbage for 4 games. But that doesn't mean that the offense doesn't have a hand in not scoring on two short fields. That's how they are responsible. Are they MORE responsible? No! But I don't care how many points you score - 3 turnovers - especially those last two are completely indefensible and 100% cost us the game.

And if you're the kind of person to argue against that fact, you deserve to be shouted down and escorted from the premises.

CAP had that fumble. It was blatantly clear

Key word in that sentence is fumble. Means there was poor execution at the worst possible time and it definitely cost us. I think he had the ball too, but it never should have been on the ground. That's on he and Marshall on that play.

Let the meltdown begin! On your mark...get set....GO!

Just a question - but WHEN would a meltdown be acceptable? Just curious...please help those of us who expect far more from the #3 team in the nation besides that atrocity of execution at the end on offense, horrific defense, and below average special teams? Help me out here....

You're providing a good example of it right now. I'm not looking for an argument.

If you are not looking for an argument, then you are just a little bi-otch. What kind if statement is that. Go someplace else if you are gong to be an instigator.

I stated I wasn't looking for an argument. Chill man and read. He came for me and I'm acting like a bi-otch. Ok. Wow. Meltdown is epic tonight.

You made the statement you were not looking for an argument AFTER you make a petty post enticing everyone. Think first. Don't be a douche.

Get a grip man. It wasn't enticing. lol. It was a statement...a true one at that right now that's coming from you. Maybe time to put down the drinks and step away from the computer b/c you took something way out of context. Wow.

Dude anyone blaMing the offense is an idiot. 38 points should win a game. I'd eills coaches worth a Damn we win the game. Id the refs call the game correct we win the game. Period

Finally....someone with common sense. We bailed the D out against USCe so I guess we were suppose to the same today. This loss is ALL on EJ, the coaches on defense and players on defense.

New to the board? I've pointed out ole Ellis hideous gameplans and apparent odd points of emphasis in 6 of our games this season and been hammered every time. Usually with the "he's been doing this a long time" reasoning that kept Ted Kennedy propped up past his prime too.

Not new but it has been certainly clear the past 4 weeks about EJ.

I think we can Pat Dye speech when the team plays well and loses to a better team. Not when the team pees their pants against a bad team.

Just a couple of quick points. First I will have to agree that CEJ has become part of the problem. We can not wait till half to make corrections. For those that did not watch after giving up 35 the first half they only gave up 6 the second. CSF is one that will have to explain. No excuse for allowing someone to come off the end and block it. That cost us ten points. For those blaming Reese, go back and watch, the LG is the one that gives the snap motion by tapping Reese's left leg, Reese is not looking at the QB. That is normal in this offense. The fault on that play is that if NM is going to change up he has to get the centers attention after he sets. The fumble at the one yard line was probably Gus's fault. It should not have been a read option for NM it should have been a straight hand off to CAP. There was plenty of mistakes to go around. First I give credit to TAM. They were embarrassed by uat and they have worked hard the last two weeks to correct it. Last week against ULM was probably due to them focusing ahead on us. As others have said we have won some close ones and we will lose some close ones. All is not lost. If you think like that you need to root for the other team across the state. We still have three more games and a bowl game. If you think we should play for a championship every year then you are dreaming. A good year is that we are in the discussion. I remember in 2012 a lot of you were saying that if we could just compete you would be happy. We lost both games due to mistakes on our part, and everyone on that team will tell you so. So we are competing. Can we improve? Sure but let's not get unrealistic and think we should be good enough to win every game. Most pundits thought we would lose 4 with our tough schedule, and we might. But I can bet you that not one of them will say we are a bad team. Be sure you understand the difference in a bad team (see 2012) and a good team. Should uat go down tonight we would be tied for 2nd in the SEC. Even if they don't we are tied for 3rd, with two chances to redeem ourselves. So lets talk about positive improvements we would like to see, like some folks using their arms when they tackle, and stop the crap that we are the worse team ever. WDE

If Ellis is gonna waste defensive talent like that we might as well recruit 2* players and have a legit reason to lose a gam while rushing for 300 yards.

The problem with that is that no matter who has been AU's DC there has always an extreme group calling for his head.

If you quit watching after they lose, I hope you never come back.

We'll probably lose the last two meaningful games but that should bring the j.j era and new d coordinator which will be good. I refuse to buy another ticket to auburn games until he is of the team

Well odds are.you haven't bought too many in the first place. Criticizing a coach is one thing, i've done it all night, but refusing to support tbe school shows what type of "fans" people truly are
