Still a long ways to go.

Let us not forget that Foster even got an AU tattoo....zzzz

TD isn't anywhere near the person Foster is. This commit is solid.

what was so much different about foster? Played at AHS, didn't he? Committed early, even got a tattoo of AU on his arm. How can a commit be anymore solid than that before they sign a LOI?

I didn't follow recruiting as heavily as I do now, when Foster was recruited, but I thought I recalled people being quite confident about him.

TD being from a huge bama family...other than a super early commitment, what's to say he won't reopen his recruiting by October

Foster could have cared less about Auburn. He committed to Trooper Taylor. Had trooper gone anywhere but Arky State, Foster would have followed.

1 word...Character. TD has it. Foster doesn't.

TD is the nephew of a coworker. It's legit that they are a huge bama family.

Apparently his mom isn't per WDE.

From his uncle..."Guys, I wouldn't get too excited...take my word for it." Hope momma has more pull than the rest of the fam.

His uncle has been pushing Bama all along.

Could "unc" (uncle) possibly have his hand out? Been known to happen by relatives.

^^^^^

Uh-oh....so you are saying this is one to keep on flip watch or something?

If so it likely won't be TD's choice. I think he sticks though. He likes AU. His mom likes AU & the guardian has to sign the NLI too. No word on his dad.

Also there's the standard Bama talk that he was not a take for them.

Some things I learned today about TD...

1. Apparently had silently committed to Bama at some point.

2. Family was shocked by AU pick but fully supports TD.

3. It is true TD has only 1 year football experience and here's why; played 8th grade, sat 9th bc staff at Wenonah transferred to JO, missed 10th with gunshot injury to leg.

4. Coach at JO very pro-AU.

5. Has relatives 6-4 and 6-5 and could easily grow into DE/Buck.

6. Natural leader and very humble.

7. Hard worker, why he gels with T-Will so well.

AU sold him on early PT and development under T-Will

Things I know to be 100% false. No one in his family was shocked TD picked AU. Not even his uncle.
