We have alot of talent for next season but idk if it's enough. Think Art Briles comes on as an analyst? To be OC in 2018? I sure hope so.

Unless we clean house or win big next season.  Chad Morris has some HC experience now, so he could be the guy.

What's funny is when you speak reality your labeled a troll or a hater.. I don't really have much confidence that AU will do anything next year except 6 wins . Gus just sucks ass guys . He has been horrible for AU . He wasant qualified when the mighty search committee hired him.

I'd prefer him as HC.  To beat the dirty people, sometimes you got to get someone who's willing to get dirty.

Per Jon Solomon of CBS on Twitter: Auburn loses 5+ games for 3rd straight year. Last time that happened was 1975-77 (the end of Shug Jordan and start of Doug Barfield).

Yep.

Nothing is more frustrating to me than our complete lack of depth at key positions on offense this season. Gus is far too deep into his tenure for us to be thin at the QB and HB positions, yet when the QB1 or HB1 weren't healthy, our offense turned anemic.

I fault Gus for many things this season, but I fault him for poor roster management more than anything else. I understand there are things you can't predict, like injuries or transfers, but such is football, and I don't think we are unique to either of those two things.

We need to throw it to our TE more often....lest see, ew threw to him twice all season and he caught both of them for a TD...with a success rate like that we should have thrown to him at least once a game....

No excuse for Woody to not be ready either.

Is Sean's career done?

None of us know. However, Sean didn't exactly have a cannon before all of this.

I don't know but I don't trust him to be durable. Plays hard and gutsy, but just too injury prone.

Do I remember Jay Jacobs saying Chizik was fired for a lack of player development? We have the same scenario. If the idiot had not given him such a large buyout, we might have hope. It will be two years or more before this crap show moves on.

If we don't bring anyone in at all for offensive consulting, I gotta assume next season won't be much better

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same result.  I have said this several times and after tonight I will continue to say it.  The relationship with Gus and Rhett is one that is not productive or allowing any development to the offense.  We have these same discussions year after year.  Rhett is his yes man and the play calling and lack of allowing QB's to work with specialists show just how hard headed he is.  Gus needs someone to come in and challenge him to evolve rather than running the same stagnant set of plays over and over again.  He needs someone to tell him that it's time to do things differently and allow the QB's exposure to different things that will help their mechanics.  If he does not do this, it will just be a repeat of this year again, except that if we repeat this year all over again he will likely not have another shot and will have to change things up at his next job.

"Be competitive"

"Don't crap the bed once you're ranked in the top 10"

"Do enough to not get coach fired"

Dang, those are going to be some long hashtags for the social media department.  Third's my favorite though...I'll start the wristbands for it!

I hate that Gus sees a problem and is unwilling to let someone else fix it. This is a true loser's mentality. Like he only wants to win if he's the reason for it or driving force or something

Like not letting QBs seek outside instruction in the offseason?

Precisely. Or this playcalling issue with whoever is calling the plays -- it's not clear that Lashlee is still calling them. Or sticking with a grossly under-qualified OC -- which I guess is a way of making sure he is in control....ugh what a mess

"Stronger together!"

"Break down the barriers!"

...wait.
