The wife was anti-dog...kids finally wore her down...Rowdy joins family.  Within 6 months the wife was wanting a companion for Rowdy.  Rowdy and Dixie (my bird dog) are inseparable.  Just like the kids, completely different personalities and both a lot of fun.

Great, is the bird dog a long haired pointer?  I’m a fan of the GSP.

She's a French Brittany...short haired.  Great personality; very expressive face; boundless energy...very protective of the family.  She is a hoot in the field.

It is a joy to watch a dog do what brings them joy.  My GSPs are the same, I walk them in a Christmas Tree farm every morning and they are in heaven.

Went on a ghost tour in Savannah. Our family did a Scooby Doo theme. That's our Fred and Velma on the left, and their friend Lucy as a ghost on the right. I spend a lot of time thinking my daughter needs to pee but she just has unusual body language.

We have always carved one or two except when he's been in the hospital. This year was the first that he carved himself. The one with the bat smile is his.

Concours d'Elegance

The long black boat is a legit rum runner built in 1920. Built to carry 3000 lbs of booze across the river to Canada. For real though Al Capone stuff.

Those open cockpit McLarens... I don't even wanna know.

And, yes, that's a jet powered car carved out of wood.

Day 7...

Damn, Bird. I'm so sorry. But those words aren't good enough.

I'm glad he has a Dad like you to take care of him. Hang in there. I'll keep hoping for the best and wishing I knew what to say or how to actually help.

I'm lucky enough to take care of one of the most generous, gracious, and loving kids.  His strength and perseverance are inspirational.

I really appreciate your kind words. Truly.

Know it is an inspiration. We had a kid several years ago on our 13/14 baseball team with what I am thinking is a similar condition. His dad showed me a small pharmacy bag of drugs or treatments one afternoon and the cost he relayed was “jaw dropping”.

Kids dad was good pals with Coach Dye. Some hilarious stories about Dye’s afternoon calls to Finebaum while they were having a drink. He had Coach come by and speak to our all star team during one practice one afternoon. Asked my son what he got out of the talk…” well, he says hell and damn a lot”.

Hope the best for you, son, and family.

Yeah, we were spending around 1-2 million a month, but that's increased to about 1.5-3 per month recently.

He does indeed, but I think that's due to Mrs. Golf.
