See you have fallen for the trap. We don’t need a Pete Carrol type of coach, who will ask to be paid max money and probably won’t have half the success that a NS has. We need a coach who has proven they could build a program and do more with less. The last two coaches never have proven that. In fact, they have been between average and above average, yet, one won a championship here and another got to a championship game. Imagine what would happen with just a little bit of quality coaching.

FWIW one of Chip's grad assistants told me he's (Chip) actively looking to leave for greener pastures. Literally the only "connection" I have with the program and he never tells me too much other than the "mood" of the staff/team.

What is being assumed? Don’t turn this into a pissing contest. And yes, if auburn is to make a change it would be before any bonuses. If Chip leaves on his on accord which I already stated it would be later.
