No.  Gus is calling the plays for the first time since 2015 so he  is back to doing what got him the job.  He will be unstoppable.  Also he returns all five olinemen who are in their second year being Coached by one of the most technical oline coaches in the business who was previously at UCONN before Gus brought him back.  He also has a QB that God made for his offense.   So quit haten

But we're seeing the same as last year. Gus' specialty isn't calling to the strength of a pass-first QB. 

If he doesn't have a super-elusive runner or a big body that can get upfield at QB for when blocking breaks down to punish aggressive DL. Back with Stidham, he was at least a little bit more experienced, but Nix is a True Freshman. He hasn't adjusted to this speed yet and we're seeing that our DL might not have been a good enough primer for excellent competition. Especially w/ how coach Malzahn calls practice.
