I'm happy for Bo.  What a great kid.  And loved the fact that alot of his film they showed was in an AU uniform.

All that said though:

Bo struggled against SEC caliber defenses and yes much of that was bc he played behind a piss poor Oline, but he also missed a whole bunch of wide open receivers for TD's that I remember watching.

He went from a league with the very best defenses week in and week out, to a league that basically plays NO DEFENSE.

So to sum it up:  I hope Bo balls out in the NFL, but he's going to have to prove it to me against NFL defenses.

It’s amazing how some people on social media know more about an NFL ready quarterback than people like Bill Belichick and the entire Denver Broncos coaching stuff.

Man it's all about perspectives huh? I'm not going to rain on the parade. I wish all players received this type of grace though.... Some players are more privileged than others

I see, so privilege made him number three in the Heisman Trophy voting, the number two all-time passing yards leader in NCAA history and the overall number 12 pick in the NFL draft. It was all privilege.

LMAO is Bill really a guy to keep naming as far as identifying QB talent? Bill had the goat..... Some of you could coach a team with him as your QB and get a few wins. He's also the guy that drafted mac Jones in the first round ..... Seems like people would lean more on him just being a head coach or talking defense. Unless they are saying he taught Brady his skills.....

You could maybe just try to read. I'm talking about the privilege he gets on this board. I'm not you, how could I speak on his privilege at places I don't know anything about?

As far as on this board he's the most privileged and pampered player to ever be discussed on here. You guys hate other players that literally gave their all to Auburn just because they had the audacity to be QBs when Bo was here. Then you hated the guy that had to replace him.

And now he's a martyr poor him as if people really attacked him. Saying he needs to make better decisions became attacks. He was treated so bad. While other guys were talked about like dogs.

Meanwhile on this forum threads were deleted, locked, hidden, for the slightest criticism of Bo. Meanwhile other guys could be attacked personally and not even confirmed if rumors were even true.

I thought our fan base was hard on Bo. Gus did Bo no favors and the OL recruiting forced him into some tough spots. Harsin made matters worse just being an all around abrasive ass. Happy for Bo that he ended up playing his last two years for a legit HC.
congrats Bo !

Until you change, you will always be miserable. Until you open your mind, you will always be full of hate and it’s really sad.

Lol. As usual you didn't read before you initially replied... And that's no big deal it just made you be wrong because you thought something that wasn't so, instead of just saying my bad of course you have to start the personal stuff.

Contrary to your belief just because I don't agree with these ridiculous takes you have doesn't make me miserable, I have an AMAZING life.

But no I will never be that passive, submissive, guy that sit blind and let people like you run over them. You have said way too much to feel like you can preach and cast judgement. I will go as far as to say only a couple of people have said more hateful things than you.

This is actually a great example of what I'm saying though, there's not a person on here that can say I have ever said anything disrespectful about Bo, but he is so privileged among some of you that you all really think you can't say things of him that you all have freely said about so many others. It's to a point saying something like Bo can't throw deep accurately is hate to some of you.  The fact you really can't look in the mirror, or understand is what's actually sad. But it is what it is as they say.

Are you actually trying to argue that Bo’s upbringing had equal opportunities for advancement and development as his peers on the field???

So the house where Bo took the call was one I built in approximately 2011 in River Oak's subdivision at Lake Martin.   We spent about 8 great years there and sold it in 2019 to a great auburn family!!!!

I don’t like everything about Bo’s time here. Some blame falls on him, some on the coaches, but good for him to make the best choice for his situation and come out on top.

Whether he ever makes it in the league is irrelevant at this point.

Scholarship to AU, Beat Bama, Heisman finalist, 1st round pick. Only a couple more items on that to-do list.

bo was a true freshman so he deserves a pass in my book for his time here. he was not coached up, he played hurt, and he gave us his all. bo loves auburn and it can be said auburn let bo down.i stand by my comments......

Congrats to Bo on working hard and getting drafted. I’ll always give someone credit for leaving a bad situation to improve their own, especially when it’s a difficult decision. He was here during the worst coaching hire in our history. All that coupled with the scrutiny that social media provides added a layer of difficulty. And that’s not necessarily unique to him. What is, perhaps, is his legacy.

And on the arguing. It seems to me that people begin to argue about a particular player and when it  gets heated, it becomes less about the player and more about defending their own opinion. It becomes personal. I know I’ve done it.

Congrats to him and his family. Sort of surreal to have been in the stands to see his dad step onto the field to spark a comeback IB win and then FF to now when his son's had a wild career at 2 universities and then gets drafted in the 1st round.

So does Auburn add him to the video board when they are showing the players in the NFL?

I say forget opinions, let facts speak for themselves, feel free to call me out on anything I said that didn't transpire, and if the things I said are factual and did happen, then what is there to disagree?

I went through it, as far as your cancer stuff and I know it can be hard and scary and I just wanted to let you know that it was going to be ok. Even the dark days I just wanted you to know there will be the sunny ones around the corner. And I'm still here if there is anything you want to talk about or you have any anxiety about anything. Just want to support and help you anyway that I can.

I did wish I had anybody to support or help me when I was going thru as far as the board because I didn't have anybody to talk sports with on those lonely hospital days lol. But this board lets just say I'm not the favorite person lol, I'm going to address the elephants in the rooms and most aren't going to like it.

I'm very happy you are doing better and getting stronger, no thanks needed for me man. This was all about you. Your health is bigger than me.

I really mean what I say, sure we may disagree some football stuff, but I'm not going to carry that and dislike you as a person because you disagree on if a QB or wr or coach is good or not. I usually forget little arguments that same day. I wish more people on here could do that, they pretend they can but they can't. Disagree with them and they hate you for it. My best friends on here has all disagreed with me before. To me it's not personal.

There are a few exceptions though, I have around 3 guys that crossed a line with me, and I still don't stalk them or anything I just dislike them and prefer not to interact,

This last thing they did with kicking me out the premium board stuff without cause or explanation while allowing guys to call me out of my name and say racial stuff without them getting reprimanded at all was quite informative as far as where leadership on this board stands.... But even that just proved me right imo in what I've always said.

But even with that I'm talking what? Maybe around 7-10 guys? Majority I don't have any problems with people that disagree, way I look at it real friends are the people that will be in your corner even if they don't agree with you, people only wanting to be around because you say the things they want to hear probably aren't your friends.

There wasn't an argument between me and you that would make me not support you going thru something like a cancer scare, especially something that I had walked myself and I know I could help. Wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror if I was that type of person.

Preciate all the kind words, I'll definitely take them when I can get them on here 😂

Just to point out how much Harsin destroyed this roster… We’re at the end of round 4 and no Auburn players have been drafted.  NO, ZERO, NONE. The university of British Columbia has had a player drafted, and we’ve not had a single player go.
