A very real factor for these elite backs is that AU has 2-elite backs already...

UGA & UAT don't have a back period who are as strong as Dyer, nor do they a specialist/speed back as good as Omac...

In my opinion, this has hurt us to at least a degree with these guys...

Question is, does IC really think AU is a good fit, and will he really get the playing time and carries early on...

You high man?

Bammer has freakin' Trent Richardson. And McCalebb is NOT an elite back. He's a change of pace, speed sweep guy. AND UGA has THREE running backs on campus who were top 10 RBs out of high school (King, Ealey and Malcome).

Well aware of who UAT has... my opinion is Dyer>T.Richardson & any of the none performers @ UGA

UGA RBs = beauty contest winners based on rankings... none have produced in their role on offense like Dyer or Omac... I haven't looked @ the numbers recently but I already know how they compare...

Watched both schools play, and our guy's skill set, for our system, are better....hands down... and they will continue to get their carries...

The dawgs have no identity right now. A smart kid would see this and go to a team that has an identity and wins uppon that identity. I would say a National Championships fits that bill very nicely.

Anything about Richardson is potential right now, he hasn't had a season's full load yet. (Feel like any success he had is because most defenses didn't know what to expect).

Mccalebb intrigues me, he might become a Percy Harvin-like player if we utilize him here and there in that way.

I feel like there will be so many moving parts even with DA, Cam, and TZ gone with the additions of Bray, Frost, Calloway, and the progression of Reed, Blake, etc. with Dyer and Omac running it all over the place. I honestly think whoever is the QB will be successful, though Frazier might open things up more with the run. Either way...

BRING

IT

ON.

Dyer           182 for 1093 yards

omac          200 for 1375 yards

richardson   257 for  1451 yards

The stats say you are correct walker

I agree underwood, Auburn has a stable coaching staff coming off of a National Championship. Georgia is coming off a bad bowl showing with the uncertainty of whether Richt will last two more years. If I had a son being recruited right now, I would want him to be in the most stable environment.

Not really The ypg carry difference is 0.4 between Dyer and Richardson.

Freshman years when they both shared a back field with a heisman trophy winner is the best comparison between the two.

Dyer has a more yards, a higher ypc average, and was the mvp of the national championship game. Even if you carry out richardson's freshman carries to the same number as dyer's he has less yards. Either way he is more productive.

Either way. Time will tell. I feel Dyer will be asked for his ID eventually...

People have been saying our chances with Crowell has slimmed down but I think not. If im not mistaken he is still visiting us!!! Im hopeful and Crowell will make the best decision for him which really is what matters!!! I just hope Auburn is the best for him and his chances to get to the NFL!!!

I know they are not a package deal but I will like our chances with Crow better if Drew commits to AU on Friday and then visits this weekend to help recruit.
