I would like to know what moderator edited my post.  I can't believe that you cannot live with the word B***h.  I didn't just fall off of a turnip truck.  I have two degrees from Auburn in Electrical Engineering and I have an excellent grasp of the English language.  The word B***h refers to a female dog or in slang to a malicious, selfish, or unpleasant person.  Now please tell me what about that offends you.  I would appreciate it if you would give me a phone number or an E-Mail address because I would like to discuss this with you further.

After first reading about the allegations against Ward, I got to thinking, I know he is from Montgomery, but why would he leave Texas, a proven winning program to come to Auburn? The point I am trying to make is was he involved in something shady in Austin?

Yahoo! Sports, which first reported the investigation Thursday, said Chris Denson was questioned by authorities but ultimately cleared of wrongdoing in the case.

Directors of three sportsbooks in Las Vegas said they have not been contacted by the FBI, which is something the agency does in some cases of betting irregularity.

The betting data from Auburn's season also doesn't seem to offer evidence of game-fixing. The Tigers failed to cover the spread only four times in 16 SEC games, according to Covers.com. There were no dramatic line changes in the two games cited by the Yahoo! report. Line changes often occur when a large sum of money is wagered on either side, which is what might be expected if point shaving has taken place.

Thanks for that link Shug. MrAUTigers2U thanks you also! I have been saying I see no reason for Auburn to be in trouble over this. Auburn University, Auburn basketball, the coaches, the players that were doing their best, and the fanbase are the victims in this. This is all about breaking federal laws. I hope it's not true, but if it is then I hope Ward gets the maximum sentence. You would think Ward did not act alone. (as far as a non-member of the basketball team) I hope they are found and punished as well.

dave69 since you are obviously new to message boards and specifically AE, I would recommend taking a good look at the rules and understanding how things are done here. If you want to cuss and use explicit language this isn't the place for you. I don't mean that as a shot or anything just trying to help out and let you know that language like that isn't allowed here. We all understand exactly what it is you are saying and really don't need to see the word. Again welcome to AE and I hope you find the stay as good as I have. Great place to discuss and debate all things Auburn in a family friendly environment which in all honesty is hard to find on the internet. Like others have said no person edited your post but the system itself doesn't allow those words through. They are good here about letting you know if they have done something with your post and why they did so. I would recommend if you wanna discuss this further the click on one of the mod's names and send them a personal message that way this thread can get back on track as this is huge news!

On Ward. It is disgusting to think someone would take a free opportunity to compete at the highest level in basketball and intentionally lose or perform poorly so you can earn some extra cash. I am really curious on how this broke. If a player noticed it and alerted the coaches or if he tried to recruit guys to join him (such as Chris Denson) and one of them told him where to stick it and told Coach Barbee. Very disturbing news but glad to hear that this is an isolated incident as of now.

And let's please not try and blame this on bama fans, barbee, the compliance dept, or the boogeyman or draw up crazy conspiracy theories as it looks childish and petty. It appears it was one selfish kid trying to make some dirty money by throwing games. Sometimes not everyone that dawns the orange and blue are truly honest people that will try their hardest. It is unfortunate and I hate how once again the Auburn name has been tarnished by poor selfish decisions.....
