It's at the Dollar Store which is within walking distance of my home.

Are you saying maybe the mormons are on to something?? :-X;D

You don't really want me to go here do you? :outtahere:

He may not, but I do. I'm thinking it would make me laugh.

Since we are speaking of plural marriages, have any of you watched Sister Wives? It is about a polygamist family, the Browns, and is quite interesting.

The multitude of 12 year old child brides married to their eldery, "husbands" by Warren jeffs might disagree if they had any access to modern information and could make an indepenedent decision.

Was doing a little doc watching this morning and when ex members apply to become members again and are accepted, they are given a folder that was kept on their personal comm's, written and electronic that would make the CIA proud.

VERY STRANGE

Very different than just a memership roll call sort of thing. bizarre.

Now that just sucked all the fun out of what I was about to say. For future conversation, follow that blind hog, it’s leading you to truffles. I was talking about women, you know, the perfect (fill in the blank)

The hubs and I watched it last weekend, and my 15 y/o daughter watched it last night. She and I both read the books. She did not like the movie, lol.

My 13 y/o and I both read the books. We went to the theatre to see the film. I thought it was pretty well done. POV changed, but that's expected in film versions. Books to movies are usually a disappointment to readers.

sometimes it ain't the hog that stinks,it's the people.

For some reason I’m envisioning a large carwash but only for people.

Probably because of your HazMat training.

Agreed :) I thought the cinematography was superb. The story was definitely altered to make it more screen worthy...the act of which really irked my jaded, and often OCD, middle child.

Don't think I don't know that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And BTW, the boy showed up. Late, but better that than never.

Blondie, when I was a younger reader the book to movie thing annoyed me too. I think the only book-movie that stayed true was The Outsiders, at least that I've come across.
