E, How much will this bump us in the 247 team rankings?

If the rankings are current it moved us up 3 spots. 247 uses the composite for team rankings and not their own individual rankings. DQ is a 5* rated 100 on 247 but a 4* rated 94 on the composite.

AUBURN -- Gulf Coast (Miss.) Community College four-star wide receiver D'haquille Williams returned to Auburn this weekend for his official visit.

By the time he left, he had made a decision. Williams is the newest member of the Tigers' 2014 recruiting class.

"For being on campus and being here, it feels like home. Not too many places feel like home to me," Williams told AuburnSports.com.

"Meeting new people, Quan Bray, Nick Marshall, it's big. What they're telling me, it's business. You have to work hard and they came from where I came from. I know for a fact that I'm going to make a big impact. Not to many people know what I'm capable of, but I'm going to show them."

Williams committed to LSU in May, but then decommitted just two weeks later. He notified the Auburn coaches of his decision on Sunday afternoon after making the decision internally on Saturday night.

"They were all smiles. It was crazy seeing them smile -- that lets me know they care about me and they landed a big prospect and I'm living it up to the fullest," said Williams.

Last season, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Williams recorded 1,295 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. He believes he's a perfect fit for Gus Malzahn's offense.

"Coach Malzhan runs that faced paced offense. We run the same offense at Mississippi Gulf Coast," Williams said. "I'm already used to that. It's not going to be hard for me to catch onto that. Meeting Coach Malzhan and knowing him, it's amazing. This place is amazing."

Williams is the second commitment from Mississippi Gulf Coast to commit to Auburn. He joins safetyDerrick Moncrief on the Tigers' commitment list. The duo have already talked about Williams' big decision and are ready to contribute in a big way on the Plains.

"That's big. We've been there together and we bumped heads in the past, but now he's my backbone," said Williams. "We're going to do it. He has the same mindset I have, we're going to ball out because it's in us. We're going to turn up. Last year they had a bad season, but they are going to set the tone this year. And if they don't set the tone, I'm going to set the tone."

Auburn receivers coach Dameyune Craig was Williams' lead recruiter. Williams and Craig have already formed a close relationship.

"That's my man," said Williams. "He comes from struggles when he grew up. I don't talk to everybody like that, but I can open up to Coach Craig on and off the field. It's off the field issues -- here's here for me and I trust him more and more. He's here for me and to help the players and be a father figure."

Williams has now been committed to two SEC West programs before August arrives. But despite the flip-flop, Williams believes he's found his home for the long haul.

"This is it right here. The LSU situation, I'm not saying I was pressured, but I didn't feel comfortable. I knew since I walked into Auburn, I knew this was home," Williams said.

Williams is unsure if he will take additional official visits. He plans to make every home game at Auburn.

I hate to grip about this because I'm guilty of it too but do we really care where we rank in July. It's just great to get the great players lets not ask where we rank now every time we get a new player. I'm not picking on any one person but somebody asks nearly every time we get a new player. There will be lots of comings and goings before the finish line.

sorry for the laziness, but how many years of eligibility left? RS or not?

Does not matter. He will be 1 and done but He has 2 to play 2.

It really has not been asked much this year.
