They are fighting because ISIS believes, in their screwball mentality, that the Kurds deserve to be eradictaced because they are a different denomination of the same religion.

Another sidebar - Shep Smith is going full tilt ' BREAKING NEWS ' , on damn near every thing coming across the wire. Even things which aren't connected, or have already been resolved, he's just tossing it out there, as fast as he can , with out regard to context or whether or not the story is legit.
