Unfortunately that doesn't seem to matter much, if the defense takes their time substituting the ref will hover as long as he sees fit.

I've seen several times across football where the ref runs the clock down low thanks to slow moving defenses.

We are moving the ball, and I'm glad, but the dog and pony show on offense makes me nervous. I feel like we are one snap away from a huge mistake with all the substitutions. Hope I'm wrong.
