Hars mentioned we're not done in 2021 regarding RBs not sure if that includes Hunter or what but we'll see. It had been assumed there would be an additional RB one way or another.

He’s talking about Hunter since he doesn’t decide until Friday

Harsin has to be top 10 next year, its non negotiable. I think we will be, but who knows at this point.

Top 10? Nah. Top 10 classes at AU mean 4th or 5th in the SEC.

Just a thought....  In an effort to encourage more parity in the sport, what are your thoughts on the NCAA limiting the number of ESD signees?  If ESD was limited to  15  signees, would that encourage more highly rated players to go ahead and secure a spot with a mid-tier school if the upper-tier school who was their first choice runs out of spots.  They certainly have the option to wait until Feb NSD, when the schools can fill their remaining 10 spots.

A rule like this would have been highly advantageous to Auburn this year as it would have given us a larger pool to recruit from after ESD.  It also may help keep those same 3 or 4 schools from dominating the rankings quite as much.

@Sizzlenot necessarily just Hunter. He wants five running backs on roster and plans on getting there before the fall.

It's hard to get through a game with just one of them. They get tired.

I have to give Harsin and staff a high five for finishing as good as we seem to be finishing. He has only been around a couple of weeks and has added very good talent considering most kids were already spoken for.

I expect big things in recruiting next year. I am impressed with our staff being aggressive out on the trail and promising to stretch our recruiting base to areas we have not put much focus before now.

I am all in on Harsin w/o him coaching game 1 yet. I think/hope we are in for a fun ride!

100%  'Lit"

Changes like that makes a lot of sense.

Sorta like Auburn not having to play the hardest sched in the SEC, every fricken year.

Thus,  if it benefits the most successful non-flagship school in the SEC(Auburn), then it will never happen.    The REC and dark backrooms where Auburn is talked about,  will always work to prevent us from having a level playing field.

If the coaching changes have shown us anything it's that the Early National Signing Day might be more harmful than beneficial. Honestly, it should only really be for Early Enrollees.

You can't do that to kids, they are the ones that are going to get effected

Another rule change Nick was right about.  Although I think this year with the extended season screwed over more kids than usual.  Typically 3 weeks after the season is over coaches fates are determined

That is the way al.com is reporting it.

Maybe someone needs to inform Darren Uscher what flip means in the SEC because it doesn’t mean taking a commit from South Alabama.  Lol

IIRC, he didn't want an early signing period at all, and said so publicly.  Now that it's here, he & a few other programs just pile up 5*'s two months earlier.  😒

Good gosh.....Just heard the presser by Harsin.

You listen to those first 2 minutes  - wow.   He represents professionalism and class.   His perspective is grounded.

Now, as for what a 'flip' is...yeah those Boise staffers need to learn we beat a lesser school when a kid signs with Auburn.  We flip a kid when they come from a rival.

Flipping a kid  in the SEC means something.

The flip Washington the South Alabama recruit was it?

@Hank2020 you’re thinking of bridges and it has been confirmed multiple times over he is not the flip that was referenced.

Uscher was not referring to him. The tweets about his impending commitment was the night before Uscher’s tweet.
