@gr82b4au Per On3, the staff. Ideally we want Barber, Riddick, & 1 of Simmons or Shaw. If we miss in Riddick then both may be a take. Sounds like Simmons is the preference.

Not sure that is correct. I remember reading on 247 some time recently that we want Simmons no matter what. We would take him today.

One end we have with this kid is josh played at Harding. So weird seeing him be a freaking position coach at a power 5 school hehe.

Scratching my head on that, not doubting staff (as if they'd care) but right now our LB pool & recruiting plan looks like Ellis Johnson's "star" system, which can be glorious if you have a 5 star 1st round NFL caliber middle LB.

Apparently staff feels 3*s Barber and Simmons are underrated. I've heard Shaw may be a little overrated. ND seems interested though. My guess would be Shaw commits to AU with a firm offer at BCW.  Riddick is No. 1, but probably a long shot, unfortunately. Would be our best LB recruit in quite a while, IMO. I've always thought Simmons would end up at Arky and probably be a tackling machine, especially against Auburn. Hope it's the reverse, but I would imagine the kid is getting pressure from the Hogs. But what do I know? Nothing. Just surmising as an outsider.

Well they are not the only ones based on all the interest he got off limited film. I am still in awe that an athlete from little ole Harding Academy is getting this much pub. Brings back memories.
