After the Miami blowout last year it should have been completely obvious our guards can’t match up against better defenses. Ever.   Hit their ceiling. Won’t get better and won’t go away. Total backcourt overhaul. Until then - Groundhog Day.

I wouldn't be mad if we got to a point in mid February (if this trend continues) where we just started playing all the young guys + dudes who are part of the future out there. Whether or not that directly leads to wins

Agreed, though I'd say it started well before Miami. First started noticing it at UGA and by the SEC tourney it was obvious. Miami game was just emphasis on the very obvious point that we have sub par guards.

Bruce goes to the Elite 8 at UT and then the Final Four at AU with deadly shooting PG and SGs, then for some reasons goes completely away from that model for the past 3 seasons. Hopefully he recalibrates this offseason

Energy level is extremely low.  No desire to rebound. Shot selection poor.  Free throw shooting poor. Ball handling is lazy and WV is hot.

Our guards vision to find open players is horrible sometimes.  We have chosen the wrong runnet on multiple occasions.  Tre had KD on the opposite side wide open
