When the final price tag comes out just remember Nick has raised just the football revenue by close to $70 million a year not even counting the added revenue to uat as a whole. Sona half year add on could pay for Gus leaving and the other half and one more would pay for the next coach. I know it sounds like a lot of money but look at it as an investment. That also doesn’t count what AU would lose if Gus stayed another year.

They haven't given enough specific information themselves to torpedo themselves and just like all coaching searches the insider reporters all they have to say is someone backed out at the last moment.  Some one with money pulled the plug and so forth.  It's happened many times before

Not young so to speak. Born in 1989 but I didnt truly know Auburn until I experienced my first game in 97 which was the tail end of Coach Bowden. My Golden years of Auburn was with Tuberville and that's who I associated with Auburn growing up and Chizik during my college years.

But folks are right the last two HCs were recent coordinators at AU and that Didn’t work well. Both were better as Coordinaters than HC mainly because they couldn’t give up control of their side of the ball.
