Is there real smoke about Freeze for OC? Would he do that considering he is a HC and getting credit for the success he is having?

Guessing it would be a foot in the doorway to big boy football again. Hard to believe though.

No kidding. How many of those 4* players from 2 years ago are still on the team? Not only are we not recruiting the right spots, they don’t make it.

I'd disagree.  With Gus we wouldn't improve. With Steele, he has the potential to hire a great OC and leave them alone. That would improve our biggest weakness.

I'm not advocating for Steele at all and do t think it'll be him.

Lil snook says Freeze as OC, Venables as DC, Cristobal as HC, and Urban Meyer as the new AD.

You don't fire Malzahn to hire Steele. Plain and simple. 

Unload the trucks... make Urban Meyer the highest paid coach. The excitement would be through the roof.

Steele wouldnt be a bad hire under normal circumstances. We just paid $21m to get rid of gus though.

It's Santa, but he is stringing us along through the Christmas season. Doesn't want to lose any elves or reindeer recruits.
