Bo looked  confident all game a d made great decisions. I loved how he spread the ball around. I know Akron but this O is  very unpredictable.

Finley has looked off.

Not horrible. If he had most of the run-time with offense it might be more accurate. Looks like aim point is where receiver "was" vs where receiver is "about to be". But velocity makes it less intercept-able. FWIW.

He does. He needs a few completions to help his in game confidence. Then I see him playing to his talent. I remember him sulking on the sideline after he was pulled last year from AU’s beatdown of lsu….The cameras kept going to him. He has to get that goldfish memory coach Lasso talks about.

One thing I would like to see improved is tackling.

A few one-armed tackle attempts that allowed another 5+ YAC. I hope Mason will have some special drills for that.

Wanted a shutout. We have a lot of 3rd string guys coming in through the defense though.

Their backup QB is better too.

TJ isn't ready but man he's huge.

Anyone think we will see DD tonight behind center?

Now I am wondering if even Finley will get another snap tonight.

Watching Pegues when he was in there, they spun him nearly halfway round holding his jersey on back to back plays. He was too fast for the OL to handle any other way.

Can’t figure out why Mason has kept 29 and 99 in the game so late.

also noticed he put back a lot of the DB starters too on this last Akron drive.

womder what Masons reasoning is?

I agree, a noticeable difference between the 1st, 2nd, etc. string. Great game, refreshing, and the atmosphere was electric. Alabama's stadium would of emptied by the end of the 1st quarter. Glad the crowd stayed engaged.

In years past, the D had to have phenomenal endurance to compensate for an emasculated, impotent offense. Maybe just endurance? Being as sharp and fast in the last 5 as the first 5 minutes? Leadership for #s's and #3's on the field?
