Favorite Coach

All this coaching search info and whoever made the Coach Kline post in another thread got me thinking. Of all the TV/Movie Football coaches....who would you pick to coach the Auburn Tigers and why?

My top choice would be the one and only Coach Eric Taylor from Friday Night Lights (tv). A real molder of men. A Motivator. Lots of recruiting ties in the state of Texas. He would bring coach Yost from Remember the Titans along as DC!

Coach Taylor is a good choice, although Coach Jones from Radio is my dude. The after game barber shop meetings and his reaction to the boosters was epic. And I forget his name, but the assistant coach was classic too.

Man...that is a good one. I completely forgot Radio when I was scrolling through movies and shows in my head thinking of coaches. I had a tough time between Coach Taylor and Coach Luther Horatio Van Dam being promoted to HC!!!

But there's a decent chance it actually is "Coach Cotton" from The Blind Side.

Different sport but one of the great sports movies and sports coaches of all time so I’ll go: Norman Dale from “Hoosiers”. If this scene doesn’t give you a lump in your throat, man, I don’t know….
