What do you want to see against LSU

Recommended Posts

1.  The defense has to keep Daniels and the rest of the LSU offense in check.  Auburn will not win a shootout

2.  Thorne and the offense has to take advantage of LSU’s porous defense.  LSU is having serious issues

3. The offense has to have long sustained drives and take advantage of the clock rules and keep LSU’s o off the field.

4.  Auburn has to win the turnover margin

5.  Auburn needs to get a lot of the injured defensive players back as close to 100% as possible.  Scott and Simpson are a must.

A competent offense is all I ask. No clue why auburn can’t put it all together for once. Either the offense is way ahead of the defense or vice versa.

Both an offense and defense with intensity and a pulse

A defensive coordinator who doesn’t forget to cover others teams best player

No turnovers and no penalties. Clean ball

2nd this.  Even if we lose 65 - 62 I'll leave happy

Thorne under center on 3rd and 4th down short yardage situations with 5' 9" 240 pounds of Sean Jackson lined up in the backfield behind him.

A few easy passes for Thorne early on. Let the boy make a couple of gimmes, for confidence.

The same thing I want to see every week.

1 - An offensive line that is creating a new LOS 3 yards down field from scrimmage and making LSU's DL look like they're on skates.

2 - A defensive line that makes running backs and QBs fake being tackled to avoid the PAIN.

All I’m asking for is to see a competent offense. It’s a terrible Auburn offense going against a terrible LSU defense, so hopefully Auburn puts some touchdowns on the board

Improvement in the fundaments of football

Improvement in techniques

Improvement of the players knowledge of responsibilities on each play

Improvement in "knowledge of the game"

Fight for 60 minutes

This is all I ever ask.

Receivers catching balls that hit them in the hands!

QB reading blitzes and adjusting

Continued improvement on the Oline

Keep getting turnovers on D

Keep penalties to a minimum

No turnovers on O

Has he not?  I feel like the beginning of the season he got plenty of shots.  He looked better than last year but still can’t be trusted to throw the football.

I’m fairly sure Auburn can’t win without at least 4 TDs - as good as their D has been for the most part, LSU may have the best WR duo in the league and Daniels has top 5 type production so far. They may be a top 5 team in CFB if their D wasn’t butt

we’re pretty similar to MSU (the worst offense they played) offensively and they held them to 14, so I don’t think it’ll just be automatic we put points on them
