You aren’t wrong. But we did some of this against Baylor as well. It’ll probably work itself out. 
 

Hoping Chaney and Denver come into their own a bit more in the 2nd half.

This is only a guess, but based on Pearl in years past, it may be that his defense isn't good enough yet.

I will add that KD is making it hard to Denver to get as many minutes.

61-54. I'm really disapponted at our lack of discipline right now. Decreased ball movement. Bad shots. Poor defense. With our depth there is no excuse for letting them gain ground on us.

Been nice seeing us in control, but it gets old seeing us up and then just letting everybody throw a three up. That’s how we got ourselves in a bind last year. 
Work the middle. Draw fouls. Shoot a three if you get a wide open shot.

It’s early to say what this team will be but I think they’ll be a slight slight upgrade over last year’s squad. We have to play smarter basketball and stop wasting possessions.

The bogus hook and hold on Broome seemed to fire us up. How come we don't seem to drive it to the basket and get fouled? That is how SELA gets their points.
