No no excuse for this level of unpreparedness. I really want Gus to pull it out b/c I think a coaching change sets us back five years in recruiting, but holy cow... this is such a garbage game plan. We are running about three plays, all of them poorly, and we seem to have no idea how to spread out or slow down a defense with play calling.

After we can't run inside and we can't run outside, Gus actually calls a pass play to Canella over the middle. Canella is open but the ball is tipped at the line and falls incomplete. At least he called a pass over the middle.
