Perry Thompson, 2024 Top247 five-star WR, Auburn commit (online stream): After a few early touches in the short passing game, Thompson got on the board with a 27-yard TD grab that saw him take the inside leverage granted by the corner before bursting toward the back corner of the end zone to separate from the deep safety and leave the corner behind. Thompson hauled in an over-the-shoulder pass that was right on the money from quarterback Nelson Thompson. Later in the first half, Thompson intervened on an on-the-money deep shot from Flowers to one his receivers that would've been caught inside the 10-yard line, if not taken into the end zone. He also got return game reps to fulfill his usual three-phase participation. Thompson finished the game with seven catches for 58 yards and the one TD, plus four carries for 31 yards, per AL.com. -- Brooks

Is he an EE?

@AUwent For the most part reporters haven't started gathering info yet on who of our commits & targets are EEs. They probably start posting that info around November.

Electrical Engineering is a tough major with football demands. 😉

Somewhere my daughter is groaning and rolling her eyes...

She doesn't have the capacity for my puns. She's much more grounded....
