Thought it was time to put 2021 to bed for a new thread.

This is nothing more than a wishlist:

1. Brendon Harris, 4 star safety from Vanderbilt. Was one of Mason's players and we need to replace Smoke.

Ton of Vandy players in the portal. I'm sure Mason could pick from the ones he wants, if there are any.

We need linebackers too, big time. Like I keep saying, we had one half without both pappoe and zakoby this season - the first half of Georgia State. GSU rushed for 219 yards in that half, which I believe is a record in Jordan Hare for an opponent.

Talent on the OL is what separates Auburn from a 6-8 win season from a 9+ win season usually imo

 

If we were able to land some keys guys in the trenches we would compete for the West and Tank would be a dark horse Heisman finalist.

Tank appears to be focused and having fun, that's a good indicator.

So far there appears to be a ton of QBs available.   Not many OL or LB yet.   I expect several more to surface.  I also expect us to utilize our full allotment of transfers, assuming we find enough guys we like to fill the spots we need.

If we don’t get 4-5 serviceable linemen we might not win a conference game. That’s how scary I think our Oline situation is

With our limited number of available slots and critical needs elsewhere, I don't see a need to use another scholarship on a RB. As things stand today, we'll have 5 RB's on the team next year. Signing a sixth wouldn't make much sense unless we simply fail to fill needs at other positions.

Saw that. Not necessarily a position of need in my opinion, but this kid rushed for over 1,000 yards as a true freshman after not starting the first few weeks. Very talented.
