I like this a *lot*, and not just because of Knopfler's guitar.

Then I'll take the liberty to present a bit more.

To be honest they could "rock it" (a bit, sort'a) on their own,...

... but most of their stuff was of (fringe) folk influence. In the youtube world to which I'm restricted here, I more easily find many of my favorites of their writing covered by others.

Heard some George Benson this morning. Good lord, that man is funky. And a killer on the guitar.

'Course, I wouldn't be introducing his "Broadway" to anyone by posting, but

I swear, I've got an LP that, when held up, shows light through that track.

Very underrated song and video. I want this girl working on my Tahoe. Dave's concerts were girl magnets

Alas

Would she touch some old Tahoe?

@augolf1716 and @AUinTLoosa- nice work, with the vids and the jokes.

I still consider one of the most unfortunate aspects of Jimi's premature passing to be the fact that Band of Gypsys had just gotten started. I've definitely posted their stuff before, maybe even this one, but I heard some this morning and... am posting their stuff... again...

That dude can wear the drums out and sing his arse off, too. I bet that was a good night.

Love hearing you guys talk about all these shows you saw back in the day. I suppose I have some of those stories, too- I had some pretty epic days at Websters Lake when a buddy's brother was putting on shows out there- but yours seem cooler.
