He’s from a small Christian school so it’s probably more of a receiver talent issue than his throwing talent.

It would be concerning but given Freeze has said more than once, his #1 trait for taking a QB at AU is accuracy tha would lead one to believe Freeze sees a QB in White who will perform better than 54% at AU.

His Soph/Jr year were pretty identical.  Hopefully he takes a step forward this year.

Most high level prospects do, I can’t imagine he will be any different. Heck most players progress as a Senior. Would be nothing unexpected.

Not trying to imply he's maxed out or anything. Don't think I've ever looked at his stats and was surprised when I saw his low Comp%.  I'm not a fan of 99% of QBs playing early bc they are rarely ready.

His picks should be reduced with a better run game than he had last year, much like the run game helped him in 2021.

Didn't say nor imply they weren't. My point was without a good run game to support him defenses were using more concepts focused on decreasing passing game effectiveness.

One can glean some info from the raw number of pics that a QB throws but for it to be really meaningful a deeper dive is helpful: 1) were any of the pics deflections off a receiver where the pass should have been a completion (the opposite of the Prayer in JHS); 2) were any of the pics because the receiver ran the wrong route; 3) were any of the pics caused by deflections at the line of scrimmage; 4) were any of the pics 50/50 balls where the receiver did not come down with the ball; 5) were any of the pics because the receiver fell down coming out of his break; 6) were any of the pics end of the half or end of the game heaves to the end zone; 6) were any of the pics the result of the qb being hit as he released the ball.   Also, did any defensive player drop a sure pic.

You said a better run game, like the one he had in 2021, will help him reduce his INTs.  They were exactly the same.

How did the run game help him in 2021 reduce his picks when they were essentially identical?  He threw 10.  That's not that many

Al.com has an article up today about Walker recruiting at a 7 on 7 tourney in Hoover today.   He says he feels pretty comfortable with several of the guys he wants.   Obviously, nothing concrete there, but I like how vocal he is about recruiting.   The photo of him shows that he is a pretty jacked up young man...    Relatedly, there is an article about Rush Propst yelling an fbomb at the Oxford coaches at the same event.   It only took what 4 weeks for him to bring some bad pr on himself.
