That’s the part that just aggravates me. This G league thing shows up right at the time when AU basketball is the best it’s ever been and several of the really good guys that went G league, AU had a real chance at getting.

I hope scoot chooses AU but at least this year we’ll be ok if he does go g-league route. I thought last year we put too many eggs in the jalen green basket. And then there was a playmaker hole on. The roster all year long.

Now that it’s LEGAL to say it, Auburn’s going to have to start getting creative with how they’re packaging these offers to recruits. I think we have to be in the utmost highest percentile of “almosts” due to the GLeague. Not an easy stat to track, but this happening with two long tenured prospects (Kuminga was something different), definitely isn’t ideal
