I thought this same thing, I coulda swore Marshall came in like a month before the start of the season, but he was here in the spring of 2013 I think well I first thought a month before start of the season, then I thought spring, but looks like end of June in '13...I'll figure it out one day...

Marshall came in at mid June. And it is possible we take 2 transfer quarterbacks.

Joking aside, landing him (a not obsurd possibility) would be the PERFECT situation for Auburn to bring along Geriner. Figuring out a way to get McCall goes way beyond his value for one year - he's the ideal Geriner mentor/clone-with-experience for a Freeze O to bring Geriner along next season for a starting role in '24.
